Clear, relatively firm aroma of ripe mixed berries and a little cherry with floral, delicately herbal and hints of pepper. Ripe, rather tightly knit, rather tart fruit, slightly smoky and toasted-nutty wood aromas, fine acidity and crumbly tannins, smoky nuances, good persistence, lots of power and noticeable alcohol, quite distinct mineral tones in the background, plus peppery-ethereal nuances, very good finish.

Best to drink: 2023-2027+. What our ratings mean
