2018 Chardonnay Reserve, Württemberg, Germany

Firm, slightly smoky and a little toasty-woody spicy fragrance with aromas of ripe yellow fruits, candied nutty flavours, some mushrooms and a hint of pepper and yellow spice. Rather juicy, slightly warm fruit, again nutty aromas and slightly smoky wood spice, very fine acidity, some touch of crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, has power, yellow-spicy nuances and mushrooms, cooling mineral notes, still a trace of yeast, good depth, very good, quite firm finish with tart juice, wood and clear minerality
