2018 "BERYLL Grande Cuvée", Württemberg, Germany

Warm aroma of partly preserved, ripe black and red berries with smoky aromas, dark bread spice, a little malt, liquorice and pepper. Ripe, juicy dark fruit with lots of bitter chocolate and smoky wood spice, fine sandy tannin, sooty notes, some persistence, a little salt and noticeable alcohol, nutty tones, cocoa and coffee grounds in the background, gaining tart juice with air, very good finish that is just a little drying and again strong in alcohol.
