2021 Eltville Riesling feinherb, Rheingau, Germany

Very slightly muted, somewhat nutty and yeasty, herbal and hinted at bacon core and stone fruit scent with a hint of fennel and mint. Young, lean, sweetish fruit with still noticeable yeast, lively acidity, hints of apple and melon, some persistence, light tannic grip, chalky notes, good, again slightly muted finish.
