2015 Klingenberg Schloßberg Gewürztraminer Spätlese halbtrocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly nutty nose, dried vegetal and herbaceous as well as earthy notes, yellow fruit, hint of bacon, light mineral notes, hint of rose wood. Ripe, slightly sweetish, creamy fruit on the palate, herbs and spices, hint of bacon, elegant acidity, light tannic grip, good substance and persistence, peppery traces and light nutty notes, mineral notes in the background, very good finish.
