2016 Pinotin trocken, Saale-Unstrut, Germany

Tart nose, black berries and a gew cherries, touch of dried herbs, peppery traces, moderate oaky notes. Fairly firm, tart, dark fruit on the palate, some oak, fairly prominent, slightly astringent sandy tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, fairly persistent, dried vegetal ,earthy and peppery notes, good, slightly sandy finish.
