2021 Klingenberg Schloßberg Spätburgunder trocken "Fass 01", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm, quite polished aroma of black and red berries with a hint of smoke, herbal nuances, hints of seasoned meat, charcoal and fresh mushrooms. Taut and very clear, rather cool, youthful, tangy, relatively dark fruit, some acidity and fine tannins, persistent on the palate, a little coffee and dark chocolate, also peppery to juniper nuances, delicate herbal tones, a hint of citrus zest, chalky-salty minerality in the background, with air some cream and milk chocolate, still undeveloped, very good, fine-juicy and spicy finish, again with bite.
