2019 Klingenberg Schloßberg Spätburgunder trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Very slightly reductive, present, distinctly smoky aroma of ripe red and somewhat black berries with herbal, spicy and still slightly yeasty notes as well as a hint of tar. Clear, lively, relatively bright, quite juicy and almost open-hearted fruit, smoky and spicy tones, lively, very fine acidity and grip of present but crumbly tannin, slightly nutty wood spice on the palate, relatively persistent, has bite and life, some depth, still young, salty in the background, very good, tight, juicy and spicy finish.
