2019 Klingenberg Schloßberg Spätburgunder trocken "Fass 01", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Quite firm, smoky, still very slightly reductive nose of red and black berries with nutty, tobacco and very slightly malty tones, a hint of pepper, dried floral nuances, meat, malt and hints of juniper. Clear, firm, tangy fruit with nutty and slightly smoky wood notes, a hint of pepper, ethereal traces as well as hints of cocoa and coffee, dried-floral to herbal nuances in the background, slight warmth, tobacco hints, a hint of juniper and clove, malty tones, very good, firm, tart finish with salty-mineral tones.
