2018 Bürgstadt Berg Blauer Spätburgunder trocken "Wolkengucker", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Quite firm, very slightly developed aroma of more red than black berries with slightly dried vegetal and mushroomy nuances. Ripe, somewhat warm and melting fruit with smoky-roasty and chocolaty wood spice, some bite, fine sandy, ripe tannin, good persistence, a hint of bacon in the background, quite powerful, slightly dark spice, tar and chocolate, preserved plums, good to very good, a little warm and also slightly compote finish.
