Slightly nutty and a hint of tobacco aroma of ripe red and a little black berries with a hint of dried mushrooms and moderate wood notes. Quite tightly knit, tart red and black fruit, smoky and nutty wood spice, a hint of bacon, some coffee in the background, light acid bite, relatively taut, ripe tannin, noticeable alcohol, good persistence, good to very good, again a little alcoholic finish with some bitterish wood spice.
