2019 Cuvée "Heaven's Door Black Label", Oberthrakische Tiefebene, Bulgaria

Clear, somewhat vegetal to dried herbaceous, nutty and peppery nose, predominantly dark berries and a hint of sour cherry with a hint of leather, grilled peppers and tomatoes. Warm fruit with bitter-chocolatey wood flavours, fine sandy, somewhat drying tannins, meat juice and black berries in the background, certain persistence, noticeable alcohol warmth, good, slightly sooty-bitter finish.
