Firm and deep, very concentrated, somewhat cedary aroma of ripe black berries and cigar tobacco with dried Mediterranean herbs, bread crust, some black olives and a hint of tar and ash. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit, some roasted and chocolaty wood spice, a little liquorice and cola nut, present, crumbly-sandy tannins and some bite, a little coffee in the background, clearly salty, Mediterranean herbs, persistent, has power, but also a certain freshness, good depth, very good, juicy and spicy finish. Still needs to mature.

Best to drink: 2026-2035+. What our ratings mean
