2017 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Tuscany, Italy

Clear, somewhat cedary-woody aroma of ripe black and hints of red berries with a hint of blood and nutty traces. Tart, tightly knit fruit with present tannins, earthy, nutty and dried planty aromas on the palate, good persistence, some acidity, metallic nuances in the background, also delicate floral tones, traces of coffee grounds, then also salt, tomato hints, very good, tight, tart finish with a lot of bite. Still needs to mature.
