2019 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC "Feldmarschall von Fenner", Alto Adige, Italy

Firm, quite deep and complex, somewhat dried-vegetable and fennel-like aroma of ripe pome fruit with hints of yellow spice, smoky traces, some nuts, floral nuances and minerality. Ripe, tightly knit, also somewhat sweet-melting fruit, nutty, smoky and dried-vegetable to herbal aromas, a little pepper and also yellow spice, grip of crumbly tannin, very fine acidity, has power and depth, clear minerality, still young, a hint of root vegetables in the background, very good, firm, juicy, nutty and mineral finish with tart spice. Still needs to mature.
