2018 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir Riserva "Linticlarus", Alto Adige, Italy

Firm, slightly tobacco aroma of ripe red and black berries with nutty woody hints and a little mountain flowers and herbs in the background. Tight, juicy, tart fruit, certain acidity and quite present, youthful, yet fine tannin, mushroomy, smoky and delicately bacon notes on the palate, powerful and persistent, certain depth, chalk and salt in the background, a trace of juniper, still undeveloped, very good, firm finish.
