2016 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva "Toren", Alto Adige, Italy

Clear, firm, polished and deep scent of very ripe, partly preserved predominantly black berries with light tobacco and cedar notes, a little juniper, ethereal herbs and floral tones. Ripe, distinctly juicy, almost sweetish fruit, partly candied and preserved, a lot of power and warmth, but also cooling ethereal notes, liquorice in the background, a hint of bacon, herbal tones, good depth, still undeveloped, chocolaty wood aromas, some sura bite, clear minerality, very good, again very juicy finish with warming alcohol
