2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Grigio Turmhof, Alto Adige, Italy

Yeasty nose, light smoky notes, pistachioes, hazel nuts and some pomaceous fruit, elegant vegetal and herbaceous aromas, hint of bacon and tobacco, earthy and mineral notes. Fairly full-bodied on the palate with noticeable high alcohol juicy, ripe, fairly firm fruit, some sugar candy, nutty and peppery notes, hint of tobacco, lively acidity, light tannic grip, toasted notes and some old oak, some depth, noticeable, but integrated alcohol, hint of curry, root vegetables in the background, very good finish.
