2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon Blanc Riserva Rachtl, Alto Adige, Italy

Firm and complex, slightly smoky aroma of ripe yellow fruits, a bit of green and white berries, bell pepper, light flowers, a hint of nutty barrel tones, certain minerality and fatty nuances. Ripe, dense, juicy fruit with a lot of richness and fine acidity, slightly vanilla wood on the palate, herbal aromas, some wax, floral nuances, a lot of power, but also cooling elements, good depth, bell pepper notes, certain plant spiciness, a touch of egg, coriander in the background, very good, juicy, melting and spicy finish with minerality and pressure.

Editor note: Cool, tart nose, prominent vegetal notes, lgiht yeasty and floral notes, light green and yellow fruit, some asparagus, fairly prominent earthy and mineral notes, hint of red berries. Ripe, firm, tart, juicya fruit on the palatre, elegant lively acidity, prominent earthy and salty mineral notes, very elegant tanic grip, good substance and depth, concentrated and persistent, complex, still very youthful, nutty oak in the background, delicate touch of vanilla, vegetal aromas reminiscent of asparagus andartichokes, slightly noticeable warm alcohol on a very good, firm finish.
