2010 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Chardonnay Linticlarus, Alto Adige, Italy

Firm, somewhat vegetal and nutty aroma of ripe citrus fruits and a hint of pome fruits with fine herbal aromas and delicate buttery nuances as well as mineral hints in the background. Ripe, tightly knit, juicy and melting fruit, quite lively, very fine acidity and some grip, smoky and nutty woody hints, a little buttery, nevertheless precise contours, has power and depth, mountain herbs in the background, distinct minerality, very delicate bitterness, slightly noticeable but integrated alcohol, very good, firm finish with tart juice and persistence. In excellent condition.
