2023 Würzburg Stein-Berg Riesling VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Herber, quite firm, herbal-vegetal, slightly smoky and a bit phenolic scent with citrus, pome fruit and peach notes, nutty tones, some tobacco, vegetable hints and yellow spice. Ripe, warm, melting fruit, nutty, vegetable and again slightly yellowish notes, has power and smoothness, some crumbly-sandy tannins and ethereal notes, persistent, with a chalky-salty background and a little smoky, perceptible alcohol, a little dark berries, a hint of surimi, very good finish.
