Clear, firm, slightly smoky aroma of mixed berries and a little cherry with delicately herbal aromas, floral and leathery traces and hints of liquorice and pepper. Tart, rather cool, youthful fruit, nutty, delicately smoky and a little dried-vegetable tones, delicate bite, crumbly, sandy tannin, persistent on the palate, a hint of wild mushrooms and smoke, chalky to salty in the background, still undeveloped, very good, quite firm, tart and spicy finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
