2021 Riesling VDP.Gutswein "1920", Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and quite deep, somewhat yeasty, also herbaceous-vegetable and slightly tobacco aromas with relatively calm yellow-fruity aromas, which become much more noticeable with air and also somewhat more exotic, smoky traces, a hint of black berries, physalis and clear minerality. Fine, surprisingly cool, quite dense fruit, again also reminiscent of physalis, clearly yeasty and again also herbal-vegetable aromas, a hint of tobacco in the background, grip of crumbly tannin and lively, ripe, fine acidity, clear, rather light minerality on the palate, lasting, good depth, very good, animating, juicy and again mineral finish with herbal notes.
