2019 Nierstein Paterberg Pinot Noir Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Red and somewhat black berry scent with slightly nutty and dried herbal aromas, a hint of malt, pomegranate, watermelon, floral nuances, hints of smoke and pepper. Ripe, slightly warm fruit, nutty and again very slightly malty tones, crumbly tannin, a hint of liquorice, certain persistence, already seems slightly developed, smoky traces, gains juice and life with air, some minerality, very good finish.
