2019 Nierstein Hipping Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Deep, relatively calm, Mediterranean herbal and tobacco scent with yellow fruity aromas, a little fennel and dried coriander and traces of red berries. Ripe, somewhat warm, quite sweet, partly candied fruit, crumbly tannin and fine acidity, spicy and herbal aromas, again slightly ethereal, pickled paprika in the background, very slight chilli pungency, touch of crumbly tannin, lasting, some depth, very good, firm, sweetish and juicy finish, again with a little pungent paprika to chilli spice
