2006 Nierstein Orbel Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly matue nose, peaches, light medicinal and ethereal notes, mineral notes. Mature again on the palate, deep, soft, partly preserved peach fruit, more prominent mineral notes, almost tingling on the tongue, shows its origins right down to the vineyard and its varietal character, fairly traditional style, but very well made, vomplex with a good long finish.
