Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Extra Brut "Blanc de Blancs" (Deg.:04/23), Alto Adige, Italy

Cool, somewhat vegetal and slightly yeasty citrus nose with pome fruit notes, floral traces and a hint of butter. Ripe, slightly warm yellow and hints of red fruit, nutty and buttery flavours, a little floral on the palate, quite fine mousseux, ethereal herbs in the background, good persistence, relatively creamy texture, very good, delicately smoky finish.
