Herbal, smoky, nutty, and somewhat ashy aroma of ripe dark berries and cherries with a hint of soup herbs, suggested bacon, and dark ethereal spice. Ripe, slightly warm, juicy fruit with smoky-toasty and again ethereal spice, some bite, present, ripe, fine-grained tannins, chocolate notes and coffee on the palate, with earthy nuances, salt, and dried herbs in the background, also stony notes, slightly drying in the good to very good finish.
