2017 Hohenbeilstein Schlosswengert Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Clear, polished, slightly floral fragrance of red and black berries, a touch of paprika and earthy tones. Astringent fruit with smoky, nutty and somewhat dried vegetable to herbal aromas, hinted peppery spice, quite lively acidity and present, a trace of drying tannin, a little cocoa, dried vegetable aromas, a little paprika, bacon nuances, noticeable salt, very good, tart finish with ethereal notes and noticeable alcohol
