2021 Wachau DAC Ried Hochrain Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm and quite deep, dense, somewhat smoky aroma with restrained yellow fruity aromas, fine muesli tones with fennel notes, fresh mushrooms and mineral tones. Concentrated, ripe, juicy, a touch sweetish fruit, lively, very fine acidity and lots of grip, herbal and fresh vegetal aromas, reminiscent of chard, fennel and celery, smoky tones again, excellent substance and depth, distinct minerality, complex and long.
