2015 Wachau Riesling Smaragd® trocken Terrassen, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Slightly muted yeasty nose, root vegetables, hint of cocoa butter, some pulses, very restrained yellow fruit, grassy, herbaceous and earthy notes. Dry, elegant, juicy, firm fruit on the palate, earthy and begetal notes, fairly prominent, elegant acidity, still slightly muted, yeasty notes and some tobacco, earthy and prominent salty mineral notes, still largely undeveloped, has some depth, bite and clear contours, cool fruit and herbs, salty notes on a very good long, firm finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
