Warm, somewhat dried floral aroma with red and black berry flavours, undergrowth, a little iodine, tomato essence and leather. Ripe, tart, relatively dark fruit, present, somewhat sandy tannins, a certain acid bite, smoky traces, floral hints and juniper, bitter chocolate and nutty wood tones, lots of power and warmth, good to very good finish with a slight alcoholic sharpness.
