Translate to English Duft nach eingemachten schwarzen Beeren mit Noten getrockneter Kirschen und Zwetschgen, etwas Dörrfleisch, Speck und getrockneten Kräutern mit moderater Holzwürze und tabakigen Nuancen. Recht herbe, dunkle Frucht im Mund, Bitterschokolade, etwas Tabak und Süßholz, auch leicht rußig-röstige Aromen, ein wenig Dörrfleisch und Speck, sehr feines, dabei noch recht präsentes Tannin, nussige Aromen, nachhaltig, ziemlich kräftig und ein wenig warm, sehr guter, getrocknet-fruchtiger und würziger Abgang mit etwas Kaffee. Hat sich ausgezeichnet entwickelt.

Editor note: Black berries on the nose, vegetal traces, some tart nutty notes and oak. Quite juicy on the palate, ripe dark fruit, delicate spicy oak, some nutty notes and nougat, medium-fine tannins, good persistence, full-bodied, still quite youthful, however the rather austere oak and coffee notes rob the wine of much of its charm, more oak, coffee and nougat on a good finish.
