Editor note: Preserved mixed cherries and black berries on the nose, hint of red berries, roasted and sooty notes, spicy oak. Prominent spicy oak again on the palate, fairly cool, slightly tart and slightly dissolute fruit, hint of preserved peperoni, hint of chocolate, elegant acidity, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannins, full-bodied but not particularly deep, slightly astringent finish with fruity notes and oak.
