2020 Barbaresco DOCG Nervo, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly tomatoey and a touch floral scent of red and a little black berries with some root vegetables, basil and barrel wood in the background. Ripe, tart-juicy fruit with some chocolatey spice and a hint of coffee, youthful, ripe, crumbly-sandy tannin, delicate acid bite herbal-vegetable nuances in the background, a little ethereal spice, lasting, relatively powerful, still undeveloped, some depth, salty hints, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish.
