2020 Barbaresco DOCG Marcarini, Piedmont, Italy

Red berry and tomato fragrance with floral nuances, a little herbs and a hint of dark berries. quite polished, lightly juicy, relatively cool fruit, fine vegetal notes and citrus hints, delicate bite, ripe, youthful, fine tannin, good persistence, hinted ethereal spiciness on the palate, again also tomato juice, salt in the background, quite elegant style, delicately creamy and warmth, peppery nuances, very good, juicy and finely spicy finish.

Best to drink: 2024-2030+. What our ratings mean
