2015 Barbaresco DOCG Nervo, Piedmont, Italy

Firm nose, hint of tobacco, red and a few black berries, dried floral traces and peppery traces, dried herbs and tar. Tart, polished, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, firm, fairly fine tannins, light peppery spice, nutty traces and some tar again, light earthy notes, hint of bacon and tobacco in the background, touch ofcocoa, good substance and persistence, becomes more elegant and polished with aeration, floral traces, hint of juniper, very good, firm, tart, juicy and spicy finish.
