2021 Großlangheim Kiliansberg Blaufränkisch trocken "von Wîg", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm, fresh blackcurrant nose with cherry notes, a bit of herbs, smoke, tobacco, tomato paste, and pepper. Firmly structured, quite juicy, again fresh fruit, herbal, smoky, and peppery aromas, lively acidity, persistent on the palate, slightly salty, still a bit underdeveloped, meaty and roasted nuances, very good, firm, juicy, and herbal-spicy, also increasingly mineral finish.
