2019 Großlangheim Kiliansberg Blaufränkisch trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm, rather tart aroma of mixed berries and cherries with herbal-vegetable and slightly floral nuances. Tight, tart, relatively cool fruit, grip of ripe, youthful tannin, nutty and somewhat spicy wood notes, a hint of smokiness, with hints of coffee and cocoa, persistent on the palate, some acid bite, some depth, salty-mineral in the background, has freshness, very good, firm, tart and spicy finish. Excellent, versatile food companion
