Quite firm, tart aroma of predominantly dark berries with a hint of cherries, herbal notes, somewhat smoky barrel tones as well as leathery and peppery nuances. Tart, firm, relatively cool and again rather dark in the mouth, slightly smoky and roasted tones, some pepper, good persistence, present, crumbly-sandy tannins, persistent on the palate, juniper nuances, a hint of forest floor, still young, very good finish with tart juice and almost a little ethereal spice.

Best to drink: 2024-2027+. What our ratings mean
