Clear and firm, a touch bacony aroma of ripe black berries and a little black olives with herbal notes reminiscent of oregano and a hint of liquorice and pepper. Dense, ripe, juicy fruit with very polished, youthful tannin and some bite, has cooling elements for all its power, ethereal spice of herbs and pepper on the palate, some salt in the background, persistent, good depth, some freshness, still little developed, very good, tight, polished finish. Needs to mature.

Best to drink: 2025-2036+. What our ratings mean
