Tart, clearly nutty and a little dried-vegetable scent of more black than red berries with a hint of tobacco and leather. Ripe, quite juicy, still youthful fruit, clearly nutty wood spice, also herbaceous-vegetable nuances, a little peppery-ethereal and hints of juniper spice, present, yet fine and ripe tannin, persistent on the palate, has some power and substance, good depth, bitter-chocolate notes and a little coffee, very good finish.

Best to drink: 2025-2030+. What our ratings mean
