2022 Chardonnay "Mineral", Pfalz, Germany

Somewhat nutty, spicy oak, apple and citrus on the nose, herbaceous notes, hint of white cabbage and a hint of tobacco. Light, slender, finely juicy, almost cool fruit, some nutty barrel tones, a hint of butter and quite fresh vegetal notes, fine, relatively lively acidity, delicate grip, yeasty notes and a little smoke, hints of citrus peel in the background, good persistence, very good, finely spicy, rather cool finish with bite.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
