2021 Ungstein Weilberg Riesling, Pfalz, Germany

Slightly developed, quite yellow stone fruit nose with citrus nuances, floral hints, some sea buckthorn, smoke and increasingly clear, light mineral notes. Ripe, melting, somewhat buttery fruit, fine acidity and some grip, flavours of fat nuts on the palate, good substance and persistence, completely dry style, very slightly muted on the palate, again very light minerality in the background, certain barrel notes, very good, quite firm finish despite the certain butteriness.
