Tart, concentrated, fairly mature nose, some smoked bacon, black berries, herbs, touch of mushrooms and juniper, more black fruit notes. Tart, ripe, dark fruit on the palate, toasted, spicy oak, some coffee and dark chocolate, fairly prominent astringent tannins, bacon, smoky and peppery notes, touch of soup greens, abundant alcohol, fairly rustic style, mineral notes in the background, oxidative traces, slightly rough with noticeable oak on a good to very good alcoholic finish.

Editor note: Firm, fairly complex nose, hint of tobacco, black berries and some cherries, licorice and violets. Fairly firm and fairly polished tart, juicy, dark fruit on the palate, yeasty, vegetal, herbaceous and smoky notes, fine youthful tannins, some bite, has high alcohol, but also some cool elements, slightly salty in the background, hint of citrus zests, some cloves, still undeveloped, very good firm, juicy, polished finish.
