2014 Sauvignon Blanc Baer, Pfalz, Germany

Yeast nose, smoky, spicy oak, hint of bacon, light yellow fruit, prominent mineral notes, some flinty notes and a hint of tobacco. Firm and tart on the palate, smoky, yeasty and light vegetal notes, light oak, light earthy and chalky mineral notes, some more flinty traces, very elegant acidity, ripe tannins provide firm grip, some depth, very good firm finish.
