Firm, nutty, somewhat smoky and slightly tobacco aroma of black berries with dark wood spice and a little sour cherry. Tart, juicy, cool, fresh dark fruit, again some smoky-roasty wood, a little bitter chocolate on the palate, herbal-vegetable nuances, a hint of citrus zest, good persistence, relatively fine perlage and moderate, polished tannin, taut, fresh-juicy finish with tart dark spice.
