2021 Maximin Grünhaus Abtsberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Slightly smoky-reductive, tobacco and a little nutty-yeasty aroma with yellow fruity aromas, fine herbs, yeast, herbal seedlings and moderate barrel tones. Ripe, juicy, somewhat sweet fruit with lively, very fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, smoky and slightly nutty-yeasty on the palate, tobacco flavours, persistent, good depth, distinct minerality, black berries in the background, also cranberries, dense, deep and multi-layered, has tension and life, very good, sweet-juicy and grippy finish, again smoky, herbal-spicy and very mineral.
