2018 Maximin Grünhaus Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken Alte Reben, Mosel, Germany

Fairly firm nose, still has prominent yeasty notes, dried herbs and a hint of tobacco, yellow fruit, light peppery spice, prominent mineral notes. Firmly structured, sweetish, juicy fruit on the palate, some sugar candy, lively acidity, more peppery spice and prominent herbaceous aromas, good grip and persistence, prominent mineral notes, good depth, quite powerful in spite of the low level of alcohol, more noticeable sweet sugar candy on a very good, spicy, mineral finish.
