2015 Maximin Grünhaus Pinot Noir, Mosel, Germany

Light vegetal and herbaceous notes on the nose, forest floor, mushrooms, mixed berries, hint of bacon and tobacco, light oak. Tart juicy fruit on the palate, smoky oak, more forest floor and mushrooms, fine sandy, youthful tannins, light acid bite, herbaceous notes, some bay leaf, fairly persistent, medium body, salty and light peppery notes in the background, good to very good juicy, smoky, herbaceous finish.
